Initial visit & quote
We measure up, look at existing surfaces, talk through tile choices, patterns and trims, and agree a clear scope for the work.
Our domestic wall & hall tiling service covers everything needed to remove tired finishes, prepare surfaces and install new tiling that ties the rooms in your home together.
We keep the process straightforward and respectful of your home. Here’s how a typical wall or hallway tiling project runs from first visit to final sign-off.
Initial visit & quote
We measure up, look at existing surfaces, talk through tile choices, patterns and trims, and agree a clear scope for the work.
Prep & protection
On start day we protect floors and access routes, remove old tiles if needed and deal with any repairs so the background is ready for tiling.
Setting out & tiling
We plan the layout so tiles line up neatly with worktops, stairs and doorways, then fix tiles to the agreed pattern or bond.
Grout, silicone & clean
Once tiles have set, we grout, silicone where required and clean everything down so you’re left with a finished, ready-to-use space.
Every home is different. These are some of the most common extras clients ask us to include on wall and hallway projects.
Wall and hallway tiles are generally low maintenance, but a few simple habits will help them look their best for longer:
Will there be much dust or mess?
We protect surfaces, use dust sheets and tidy as we go. Removing old tiles can create some dust, but we keep disruption to a minimum and leave the area clean at the end of each day.
Do I need to empty the room before you start?
We ask that worktops, hallway furniture and any loose items are cleared where possible. If anything is difficult to move, we’ll talk it through at the survey and plan around it.
Can you tile around my existing kitchen or staircases?
Yes. We regularly tile around fitted kitchens, stair strings and existing joinery. We’ll explain what’s possible, highlight any awkward areas and agree finishes before work begins.
