  • Substrate checks and repairs, including boarding or levelling where needed.
  • Waterproofing (tanking) to showers and wet zones for long-term protection.

  • Attention to detail around niches, boxes, alcoves and pipework.
  • Grouting, silicone work and final clean-down before handover.

How we work

We aim to keep the process simple, clear and as disruption-free as possible. Here’s how a typical bathroom or wet room project runs from first enquiry to final sign-off.

1

Initial visit & quote

We measure the space, discuss your ideas, check existing surfaces and talk through tile choices, layout and budget.

2

Prep & protection

On start day we protect access routes, remove old tiles where required and sort any repairs so the background is ready to receive new tiling.

3

Waterproofing & tiling

We apply tanking systems in wet areas, then set out the room so cuts fall in the right places before fixing tiles to the agreed pattern.

4

Grout, silicone & clean

Once everything has cured, we grout, silicone, clean down all tiles and walk the room with you to make sure you’re happy with the finish.

Popular options & upgrades

Every bathroom is different. These are some of the most common extras clients ask us to include.

  • Feature walls behind freestanding baths or vanity units.
  • Built-in shower niches for bottles and accessories.
  • Contrasting grout colours or trims to highlight details.
  • Large-format tiles for a minimal, easy-to-clean finish.
  • Patterned, slip-resistant floor tiles for extra safety.

Aftercare & maintenance

We’ll always leave you with simple aftercare advice tailored to the tiles and grout we’ve used, but in general:

  • Use non-abrasive cleaners suitable for tiled surfaces.
  • Wipe down shower areas regularly to reduce soap and limescale build-up.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage grout or silicone.
  • Contact us if you ever notice movement, cracks or discolouration — we’re happy to advise.

FAQs

Do I need to organise other trades separately?

We offer a fully managed service, providing all required trades as part of your project. From plumbing and electrical work through to full bathroom fitting and tiling, everything is coordinated in-house to ensure a smooth process, clear communication, and a high-quality finish from start to completion.

Can I still use the bathroom while you’re working?

In most full refits, the bathroom will be out of action while tiles are being removed, installed and allowed to cure. For smaller refreshes, we’ll explain what access you’ll have and when.

Do you supply tiles, or should I choose my own?

Many clients choose to source their own tiles from local showrooms, which we’re more than happy to work with. Alternatively, we offer a complete supply and fit service, taking care of everything from selection to installation for a seamless, stress-free process.
